19.01.26:

First month of this blog and stuff…

Whole idea of this website came to me when Carrd became too small for my intentions. Huge walls of texts is not “my small personal page” style. So I will open entire website with it’s own structure where I can put any amount of text, and use Obsidian-flavored Markdown in it’s full grace. I still haven’t opened a repo on Github/Gitlab, since I still thinking.

On the other hand I finished my music library update pack, and it will add whopping 558 new songs to my current library, that consists of 284 tracks. If I will have time, I will list first pack of my music via listing albums.

All the shutdowns made me to watch(and download) some media titles:

  • Fabulous beasts(48 episodes)
  • Konosuba(Megumin’s prequel season, 3 released seasons and Crimson Legend)
  • Steve Jobs(2015)
  • Smiling Friends(3 seasons)
  • Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure(Seasons 4-6)
  • Dr. Stone(Seasons 1-4 + Ryuusui)

I am converting them right now, so I’ll give final size later. Current size of all of the is approximately:

Idk. Still counting

And for the future, I’m taking some manga/books/manhua to read:

  • Fabulous Beasts(Up to chapter 1140)
  • Konosuba(up to Ch 131, Volume 22)
  • Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure(Part 1-9)
  • Dr. Stone(Volume 1-27)

I’m also thinking about buying domain for the website, but it’s less possible. If you, for some reason, decided to learn art of offline media, I can make a guide to all methods I use. Just let me know you want it. My mail is at Links.

20.01.26:

My laptop decided to downgrade itself for no reason, so instead of waiting for 7-9 minutes for each episode being encoded, I wait 14-16 minutes. Laptop is busy doing encoding most of the time which makes it less usable safe to say. Everything is more laggy, but remains usable to some point.

21.01.26:

Decided to start doing low poly models. Best solution considering my current limitations. Maybe will do some small scene tomorrow or somewhen else.

Whole pack of all my movies and anime from 19.01.26 is over 150 Gigabytes. For all encoding I use Handbrake1(you should too) with HEVC/H.265 encode. Entire week of nothing but compressing Japanese cartoons.

I think I’ll add another text from ZOR event. Smaller, but still from event.

22.01.26:

Only Stone Ocean left. Added event text from ZOR server. Made a backup of SES wiki, both original and English branch. Finally decided to work on Furnotes after month or two of doing nothing.

23.01.26:

After 9 days of compressing, I finally completed my task. Whole pack now weights 65 Gigabytes which is less than half of original size with almost same size. I decided to not put Jojo’s Bizarre adventure seasons 5 and 6 to SD card, to leave some space on card, but result is still wonderful. Over 242 files and 80 hours of hand-picked joy.

I decided to finally “slowly” add music to my phone - first tracks to go are orphan ones - 56 tracks without their whole album friends.

Maybe I will finish that model I started to make and will do some props.

Finished Sergal and Synth species pages for Furnotes.

24.01.26:

I need to tidy up my obsidian vault. It doesn’t serve much useful info right now for me, which kills its original purpose.

Finished Phonodroid’s and Dutch Dragon’s pages for Furnotes.

25.01.26:

All of website creation thing pushed me to palette choice. I need to choose good, both dark and light theme color scheme that I will use both for this website and Furnotes.

For now I’m deciding between:

  • uchū
  • Gruvbox
  • One Dark/Light(Atom’s default color scheme)
  • Solarized
  • Nord
  • Srcery
  • Ayu

26.01.26:

Out of all color schemes I chose Solarized as color theme for my website. But i still haven’t decided what scheme I’ll use for Furnotes.

I managed to replace majority of Quartz’ icons(Thanks FlowBite2) for my own choices and added new callouts:

Eyeslash

Two Right

Right

Floppy

Inbox

All of it is significant steps into customizing Quartz and making it truly mine.

Aside from text and images, Quartz also allows to embed audio, video and other files which will be handy in the future. Here is example:

UbMA-1877

28.01.26:

Nothing interesting happened yesterday. I decided to start Phase 3 of my music collection expansion(music discovery and downloading part), and among folders, that I decided to make for new folder structure, there will be new one - rare music. This one folder will be for music, that is a lot less accessible in comparison to rest. Those tracks are not available at most streaming services(hello Spotify) and even on some pirating/torrent websites. As example, I managed to find VULPnation Vol. 23 released under name of FIAB4 and was only available through CD’s at conventions. That resulted in lack of high quality digital rips.

I decided I will launch first version Furnotes5 for Ukrainian-speaking people somewhere a month later after this website, which means I will need feedback from you.

31.01.26:

I decided to add more callouts for future proof experience:

Golden medal

Silver medal

Bronze medal

Cheese

And speaking of new. I converted all of my music finally and loaded it both to my phone and ipod. 895 tracks and over 330 of them are Halley Labs.
